Dronefront Roles & Items
Teams, Fragments, drones, and everything you can buy or unlock in Dronefront.
Welcome to the Dronefront Roles & Items Hub. DEL Interactive built Dronefront as a fictional Roblox sandbox inspired by drone-combat experiences such as DronePoint. Nothing on this page describes real military operations, real conflicts, or real-world geopolitics. Treat every weapon, drone name, and map label as in-game fiction for entertainment only.
This hub is the reference shelf for how you play the game: which team you pick, what Fragments buy, which drones and missiles matter, where Operators strike, and how Gamepasses fit the economy. Pair these catalogs with Guides for step-by-step play and with Tier Lists before you spend currency.
The three teams at a glance
| Team | Role | Typical gear |
|---|---|---|
| Civilian | Survive strikes, learn the map, light RP | No heavy weapons; mobility and cover knowledge |
| Defender | Anti-air, protect infrastructure, earn Fragments | 9K333 Verba, Privet-120, I-51, Elka, Portable Radar |
| Drone Operator | Launch FPV and missiles at high-value targets | KVN, Morok, Shahed-238, Geran-2, X-101, Storm Shadow, Disruptor |
Deep breakdown: Teams Overview. First-hour basics: How to Play. Undecided? Try the Team Picker.
Fragments: the currency that ties everything together
Fragments fund almost every meaningful purchase. You earn them by performing well on Defender and Operator, completing events, and chasing badge-linked goals. Before you open the shop, read How to Earn Fragments and plan spending with the Fragment Planner. Impulse buys on Shahed-tier toys before you can aim are the fastest way to stall progression.
Seasonal spikes matter. The Summer Event 2026 has been tracked at roughly 1500 Fragments plus the exclusive Disruptor drone — see Events Changelog for patch context.

How roles connect to items
Defenders live in the weapons tier conversation. Verba timing, Privet-120 lanes, and Portable Radar awareness decide whether a KVN rush dies before impact. Start with Defender Guide and the Weapons Tier List.
Operators live in the drones and missiles tier conversation. Cheap FPV learning on KVN, stepping up to Shahed-238 or Geran-2, and prestige goals like Storm Shadow define long-term accounts. Start with Operator Guide and FPV Controls.
Civilians rarely buy combat gear, but they read the same map. Knowing where Operators launch and where Defenders hold roofs makes survival easier. See Civilian Guide when it is available, or begin with Map Targets.
